Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE

  • Full time maximum term position up to 12 months (part-time considered)
  • This role is a parental leave backfill position
  • Salary range: $98,902 - $123,624 (pro-rata) plus super plus salary packaging
  • Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model

ABOUT THE ROLE

Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) are seeking an experienced Workforce Operations Manager to join the Summary Crime team. Reporting to the Managing Lawyer, you will work to identify and implement improved operation practices across the Criminal Law Program. This is a key role and is central to the operations of the program.
Working in collaboration with the management team, some of your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing rosters, leave, and training schedules that support staff and managers to meet their service delivery priorities. You will play a key role in ensuring that improvements to workforce management tools, systems and practices meet workload and wellbeing requirements across the broader Summary Crime team.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
