QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a minimum of 3 years of Human Service/case management experience preferred.
- Previous experience with workforce development, vocational skills training programs, adult basic education, or working closely with adult learners is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to empathize with and provide motivational support to people experiencing poverty and to partner effectively with a variety of program and community stakeholders. Passionate about serving low-income families and helping them advance in the workforce.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.
- Must have appropriate and valid state driver’s license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd’s Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Responsibilities:
- The Workforce Resource Coordinator is responsible for assisting customers who are in crisis with stabilization services.
- The Workforce Resource Coordinator should be able to identify resources to assist with resolving difficult situation customers might find themselves in
- Assess supportive service needs. Determine whether stabilization resources are appropriate for a customer and develop a clear goal plan with customers. To receive Stabilization services, a customer must first meet with a Resource Staff Member to discuss and assess supportive service requirements.
- During goal planning, Workforce Resource Coordinators will be able to assist customers in identifying relevant external resources clearly articulating supportive service options available for customers.
- Determine next steps for customer during case management meetings. Assist with transition out of stabilization services, ideally after 30 days. If not resolved within 30 days, provide continued case management.
- The Workforce Resource Coordinator will provide intensive case management. Customers who agree to receive services work directly with the Resource Coordinator to set small goals around resolving or mitigating any barriers that may be influencing career seeking intentions.
