At Novocarbo, we work as a team to accelarate the economy’s transformation to NetZero: Our goal is to store 100 million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere in Biochar-based products.
We are one of the largest producers and distributors of biochar in Europe and sell our Carbon Removal Credits to renowned companies worldwide. Several new production sites for our Biochar and Green Energy are already in the pipeline. To continue this positive momentum, we are looking for a Working Student (all genders) for 8-10 hours per week to join our People & Culture Team. With your help we can continue to enable the Novocarbo Team to do their precious work through building efficient and meaningful people team structures.

Tasks

  • You are responsible for the maintenance of employee data in our HRIS (Personio) and sharepoint as well as administrative tasks (i.e. contract management, confirmations, reference letters, etc.) and corresponding automations.
  • You are the first contact for our newbies and wave goodbye to our leaving colleagues: You ensure excellent knowledge transfer, top-notch training and familiarity with all necessary company guidelines as well as preparation of eloquent handovers by taking over the design of our on- and offboarding processes. Plus: You keep your internal stakeholders (i.e. managers, IT, Office Management) in the loop.
  • You take care of our People & Culture Inbox: You delegate, prioritize and respond to employees requests in time, escalating their matters accordingly and if neccessary.
  • You support our People & Culture Projects, take on initiatives and bring in your very own ideas when it comes to being there for the team.

  • You communicate fluently in German and English. Any other language is a plus.
  • You have a high IT-tool affinity: we mainly work with MS 365 and Notion. A strong talent in process automation is very welcome.
