Working Student Data Engineering (m/f/d)

We are tulanā, a tech startup that provides decision intelligence through advanced stochastic optimization and machine learning. Our platform enables companies to make better decisions under uncertainty, increasing operational excellence and reducing costs.
You’ll work with a seasoned team (BCG, Spotify) which brings many years of experience in developing complex enterprise solutions and data platforms.
We are currently looking for a working student to join our young team in Berlin.

Tasks

• Building functional data pipelines using the modern data stack that power our AI-driven supply chain optimization
• Create and optimize PostgreSQL queries
• Get hands-on experience with professional software development
• Document technical processes
• Collaborate with data scientists on model deployment

Requirements

• Studying Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
• Strong Python programming skills, especially Pandas
• Experience with SQL
• Knowledge of dbt preferred
• Good understanding of data modeling concepts
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
