Description:

The State Street Bank International Data Office department is currently looking for a Working Student support position.

The Working Student will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
  • Support data quality assessment initiative by analyzing and documenting data issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data governance challenges.
  • Assist in conducting data lineage and impact analysis to ensure data traceability and transparency.
  • Aid in the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
  • Participate in data governance meeting and contribute insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development of training material and conduct training session on data governance best practice.
  • Stay update on industry trends and regulation to data governance.

Qualifications

  • Student for a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline and/or first experiences within a similar data roles.
  • Preferrable experience or coursework in Data Management, Data Governance or Project Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Project.
  • English (with dual language proficiency in German preferred).
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
