Situation Handling is an intelligent capability of SAP S/4HANA Cloud. It recognizes issues requiring attention, notifies the responsible users, and supports them in resolving these business situations. At the right moment, in context, and for their area of responsibility.

With the vast and diverse set of generative AI / GenAI models available today as well as unlimited possibilities for prompt engineering, development teams have a difficult task in deciding which models are the most suitable and which prompt is the perfect fit for their use case. AI benchmarking helps to provide standardized, comparable reliable ways to assess prompts and maximize business value.

• As a student contributor, you will be part of an agile team that extends Situation Handling in SAP S/4HANA Cloud with new intelligent features.
• Get deeper insights into Situation Handling by testing and evaluating use cases
• Learn about how Large Language Models and prompt engineering are integrated into software engineering for business AI. Help developing use cases that provide recommendations for users based on GenAi.
• Explore and evaluate AI tools, GenAI models, and related software development kits (SDKs), programming usually in Python.
• Get hands-on experience in using AI benchmarking tools, contribute to concept work in this area.
