For KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA we are looking for a dedicated Working Student (m/f/d) in the field of phytopathology / entomology with immediate effect, ideally for 6 months or longer. The main place of work is Einbeck (Lower Saxony, Germany). The position is part-time (20 hours per week) during the lecture period and ideally full-time (40 hours per week) during the lecture-free period. Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of laboratory trials with a focus on insect resistance and vector-borne diseases in arable crops
- Data collection and processing
- Supervise and support insect breeding projects
- Support the execution of field trials
- Conduct research on insect pests and compile information for internal and external communication purposes
- Support general activities in phytopathology / entomology
