Within our A&M’s Restructuring practice the Financial Restructuring team advises companies, investors and creditors in complex restructuring processes. Their key expertise comprise to evaluate the risks and opportunities of a company’s business plan and subsequently develop, negotiate and implement restructuring alternatives in order to maximize recovery.

As a Working Student (m/f/d) – Financial Restructuring Advisory you will support your colleagues on demanding multi-stakeholder, multi-national and domestic restructuring advisory engagements. You can expect a wide range of responsibilities:

  • Contribute to business development activities including the creation of client pitches and proposals to win new mandates
  • Initial diagnostic assessment of companies’ key issues and business outlook
  • Capital structure modelling analysis
  • Financial key performance indicators and cash flow assessments
  • Support team members in advising companies or stakeholders of companies facing financial difficulties
  • Assist team members in their daily tasks

At best you already have some relevant consulting experience and the following qualifications:

  • Advanced bachelor’s or currently enrolled in a Master’s programme
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Goal-oriented work approach with a high-quality standard and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and uncertain environment
  • Strong affinity for figures, but also ability to convince others by your open and accessible nature, as not only your skills matter
  • Excellent English and German language skills, other foreign languages are very welcome
