Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As a Working Student HR at Bitly, you will provide essential support to the HR team across various functions, focusing on the daily operations in the Berlin office. You will assist with employee lifecycle tasks, office management, and general HR duties. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in HR operations while working closely with our HR team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist with onboarding processes, drafting employment documents (e.g., reference and promotion letters), and supporting visa applications and probation tracking
- Manage and maintain employee records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with local regulations
- Support office management tasks, including ordering supplies, coordinating with vendors, and organizing events and meetings
- Assist with payroll data collection, benefits administration, and employee perks management
- Track employee attendance, leave of absence records, and help maintain HR compliance documents
- Provide ad-hoc support to the People Team on various HR-related tasks as needed
