JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated Working Student (all genders) who would like to join our Asset & Wealth Management Team in Frankfurt as soon as possible. The working hours are 19 hours per week during the university semester and full-time during university breaks with in-person work schedule.
The program lasts a year, and if you hold student status for a longer period than the initial offer, there might be a possibility to extend the contract for another year with your existing team or as a rotation to a different team (post an application and assessment process).

JOB SUMMARY:

You will work in a team-oriented environment with client advisors, client service specialists, operations and technology teams to fulfil requests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about client service and will use communication and relationship management skills to ensure an exceptional level of client satisfaction.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Fluent in German and in English
  • PowerPoint and Excel expertise required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral
  • Self-starter, extremely organized and detail-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively as well as exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Good judgment and problem solving skills
  • Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Currently enrolled studies in a Bachelor‘s or Master’s degree program in Business Administrations, Finance, Economics or similar
  • Prior internship experience in a private banking or asset management firm in sales support role or middle or back office function preferred
  • Knowledge about German accounting, i.e. balance sheets and P&l statements
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player

Responsibilities:

  • Support, together with lending advisor:
  • requesting credit approvals,
  • drafting credit- and pledge documentation,
  • completion of credit proposals and archiving of original wet ink credit doc
  • arranging for adherence to covenants
  • preparing of credit questionnaires and personal financial statements
  • Support developing marketing pitches and investment ideas presentations and assist in preparing, reviewing and approving investment performance review presentations
  • Assist portfolio managers and analysts in all fee-related matters (e.g., reporting or ad-hoc queries)
  • Deliver on a robust risk control framework (e.g., reviews and reporting)
  • Assist in setting up alternative investments (e.g., subscriptions)
  • Together with investor analyst support trading and investment activities on a daily basis (e.g., with regards to opening or closing new mandates, documentation, booking, resolve tech issues)
  • Together with banker analysts support account openings
