In-house service teams provide a full range of services to help transform business environments into more effective workplaces.
ABI is currently seeking a Workplace Consultant to join their team in New Brunswick.
This is a full-time permanent onsite position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Workplace Consultant is ideally a detail-oriented individual with a passion for business development and interior design. This individual will connect with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to create inspiring workplaces.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· A high level of business development activity, including networking and meetings with prospects to find new leads and opportunities.
· Determine client’s workplace issues and find efficient solutions.
Maintain strong relationships with current clients and discover new opportunities.
· Support our clients and partners by quickly fulfilling their requests.
· Participate in sales meetings and training.
· Participate in networking opportunities and industry conferences and events.
· Study and understand the latest offerings and research.
· Other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND VALUED COMPETENCIES:
· A strong work ethic and desire to excel.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-thinking skills.
· Self-motivated with positive energy and enthusiasm.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Focused attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of urgency.
· Dependable, confident, able to work independently and in a team environment.
· Ability to work under pressure with short lead times and deadlines.
· Occasional travel required.
· Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
· Previous experience in the Office Furniture industry will be considered an asset.
· Design experience would be an asset.
· Bilingualism (French and English) would be an asset.
· Must be a current resident in New Brunswick.
This role would be ideal for someone with a passion for design who is looking to transition into sales.
