Description:
JOB SUMMARY
As the EMEA Workplace Experience Lead, you will lead the development and implementation of the Host program at one of our clients’ new headquarters in Amsterdam, while managing its broader rollout across the EMEA region. You’ll be based in Amsterdam, with approximately 60% of your time dedicated to managing this location, and 40% spent overseeing the wider EMEA region.
You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our workplaces reflect the highest standards of hospitality and operational efficiency, while supporting the well-being of our community.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a related field (e.g., hospitality, workplace experience, facilities management).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation capabilities.
- Service-Oriented: Passionate about delivering high-quality service, with a keen eye for detail.
- Problem Solver: Able to handle stressful situations with poise and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
- Team Player: Collaborates well with others, with a focus on achieving shared goals.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both oral and written English and Dutch is essential.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the Host Program in Amsterdam: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of the Host program at the client’s HQ.
- Supervise the Amsterdam Host Team: Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and ensure cross-training for a flexible and responsive team.
- EMEA Program Rollout: Identify needs across the region, customizing and expanding the Host program to suit each location.
- Innovate Workplace Services: Develop and implement service programs that elevate workplace experience, including reception, A/V support, event management, office supplies, and more.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Keep informed about developments in the hospitality and workplace experience industries to ensure top-tier service delivery.
- Collaborate and Provide Feedback: Work with the Host Product platform (Digital & People) to continuously improve the services offered.
- Ad-hoc Leadership: Step in as needed to address unexpected challenges and opportunities.
HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of your role, you will be responsible for your personal safety and the safety of those affected by your work. This includes:
- Completing required Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) training.
- Following all HSE-related policies and procedures.
- Actively participating in HSE programs, such as incident investigations, interviews, and audits.
- Reporting any potential safety risks and taking action to stop work if necessary.
