Workplace Services Engineer

A global publication company are looking to introduce a multi-skilled Workplace Services Engineer to join their UK Workplace Management team. There is a primary focus on responding to reactive works, ensuring the business remains compliant with regard to the Workplace and to support the team around resourcing the appropriate M&E supplies/services.
You will carry out predominately fabric and planned maintenance tasks as well as minor works and project support across the clients UK corporate estate currently including 3 main offices. You will ensure that maintenance tasks are carried out on time including self delivered, sub contracted and those managed by the Landlord/Build Management teams where appropriate. You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in PPM scheduling as well as being involved in the sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers. You will have a keen eye for health and safety as well as best practice working methods and always be ready to support the Workplace management team at a moments notice.

EXPERIENCE

The job holder will be required to have experience within building, maintenance working practices and procedures, especially matters concerning Health & Safety.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

You must be able to communicate clearly and confidently verbally and in writing as an expert in your field with stakeholders from all levels including workplace team members, visitors and Director level client personnel.
