JOB ADVERT SUMMARY
Eduvos is looking to employ the services of a Workplace Support Engineer to be based at any of our 12 national campuses.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant tertiary IT qualification e.g. Microsoft certified professional (MCP) and A+ certification and N+ certification, AZURE Fundamentals.
EXPERIENCE:
At least two years’ experience in a similar role (junior)

Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To provide first and second level workplace support services on a campus to students and employees (hardware / telecommunication / classroom technology support / servers / mobile support / printing)
AS THE WORKPLACE SUPPORT ENGINEER YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Support - build, configure, install and maintain both standard and non-standard hardware and software
- Perform project responsibilities as and when required e.g. roll out of new software and hardware technologies
- User training
- Manage the service delivery of outsourced technology partners
- Office-move assistance (on and between campuses)
- Maintain active directory for students and employees (account management)
- Ensure system and data security on devices (mobile) – device encryption
