SKILLS

  • Ability to independently manage and prioritise workload
  • Empathetic and relational attitude with strong focus on customer service
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in software firewalls.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in VPN set up and management.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years experience in a senior IT System or Workplace Engineer positions in a fast paced, cutting edge IT environment
  • Experience working with Google Workspace, Okta, MDM softwares, EDR management, email security and Atlassian.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Plentific is looking for a Workplace Technology Engineer who will help to keep the company running. In this role, you’ll play an important part in helping to keep our employees from around the world productive. You will gain experience solving a range of problems across a broad technical ecosystem.
You will help Plentific operations evolve at scale and with business needs. You’ll provide front-line user support for internal tools and technologies. Beyond the day-to-day, you will contribute to various initiatives, including continuously improving our offerings and adapting with business needs. This includes updating our tools and technologies, process improvements, and documentation efforts that help support our staff.
To be successful in this position, you will need a hunger to learn and be proactive and involved with making IT the best it can be for our employees. This role requires you to be on-site in our London office at least 4 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of all tools and services, including vendors that currently fall under the team’s control.
  • Respond to inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Support use of business operational systems including Google, Microsoft,, Slack, Okta, and Atlassian.
  • Maintain and evolve our EDR policies, SentinelOne.
  • Manage our MDM solutions globally.
  • Design, update, and maintain IT documentation
  • Build and maintain System architecture diagrams.
  • Plan and execute software consolidation, i.e. having 2 instances of the same product.
  • Effective and secure onboarding and offboarding of users, including procurement of hardware and software, and training/orientation
  • You may be required to work non-standard work hours.
