Job Purpose
We are looking for a new Workshop/Instrumentation Technician, to assemble and test surface XMT`s instrumentation according to TechnipFMC procedures and customer requirements.

Job Description

  • Assemble and test surface XMT`s instrumentation according to TechnipFMC procedures and customer requirements
  • Testing of equipment including in-house testing, E-FAT and system tests and complete relevant documentation and test reports
  • Troubleshoot problems, identifies and communicates design discrepancies
  • Give input and suggest improvements to procedures, tools and equipment needs based on operational need and functionality
  • Maintain and utilize test equipment for factory and system acceptance testing
  • Supports in training and orienting less experienced colleagues

You are meant for this job if:

  • Skilled workers diploma (fagbrev), technical diploma or Bachelor degree within automation, electronics, electric or equivalent
  • Experience with instrumentation systems and capable to read and understand technical drawings, schematics and diagrams
  • Experience within hydraulics, automation or mechanics
  • Strong HSE commitment
  • A drive for accomplishing customer success and work as a team player
  • Focus on continuously raising standards and contribute to solve technical challenges
  • Solid communication skills (Norwegian and English)
  • A high degree of flexibility and a take great ownership of your work
  • Knowledge to relevant API and NORSOK standards
  • You are able to legally work and reside in Norway without sponsorship
