Responsibilities:

OVERALL SCOPE OF THE ROLE

The main focus of the Workshop Supervisor is to be responsible for providing the daily supervision and direction for workshop technicians. The role will ensure compliance with our safety systems and be the first point of contact for technical assistance for all workshop technicians.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for ensuring all set policies and procedures are applied and adhered to.
  • Supervise day to day activities of all workshop staff
  • Liaise with clients along with parts, service and management staff to ensure work is carried out on time
  • Provide technical assistance for all workshop staff
  • Ensure all practical PDI/Retail job targets for the workshop are achieved.
  • Responsible for raising and completing pre-delivery inspection service jobs for new machines
  • Raising new machine delivery dockets, paperwork and invoices
  • Responsible for providing superior customer service, building and developing relationships with the regions customer base
  • Responsible for posting internal and external workshop retail and relevant service jobs, including warranty jobs for workshop and field)
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ management system
  • Coordinate toolbox talks, production and safety meetings
  • Responsible for all workshop job quotes
  • Oversees the yard & incoming machine management
  • Answering calls on behalf of the service department and the branch.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and reporting to management.
  • Ensuring all timesheets for the service team are processed in a timely manner
  • General administrative and ad hoc duties as required, including the rising PO for the workshop, and freight companies.
  • Processing of invoices and customer payments
  • Performance management of all Workshop team members including performance reviews, coaching and development and disciplinary action if required
  • General duties as required
