Description:
Overview
Assist the Aircraft Paint Supervisor to accomplish the painting of aircrafts/parts according to schedule using industry standards and company standing operating procedures.
Will also be responsible to:
1. Paint and primer application and surface preparation to aircraft components and support equipment in accordance with all applicable technical manuals and safety procedures.
2. Paint removal on aircraft components and support equipment in accordance with all applicable technical manuals and safety procedures.
3. Paints insignia, letters or numerals on aircraft surface using stencils in accordance with all applicable technical manuals and safety procedures.
4. Applies alodine procedures and other corrosion prevention control (CPC) treatments to aircraft metals.
5. Maintains facilities for storage of flammable and hazardous materials.
6. Requisitions aircraft paint in accordance with all applicable manuals and Federal Standard 595B, and maintains shop and bench stock for the painting of aircraft structures.
7. Inspects and prepares forms and records related to maintenance in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.
8. Train host national personnel on the proper painting techniques for aircraft structures.
9. Responsible for tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification
High School Completion of a formal aircraft structures painting training course from an accredited military or civilian (vocational or technical school).
Approved on the job training (OJT) on painting processes, with applicable certificates, can be used to substitute formal training.
- Knowledgeable on The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) preferable
Experience
- Minimum of 5 Years Must have a minimum of 5 years working with rotary aircraft powertrain systems and subsystems.
