Job Description
For our Marine Asset Integrity department in Nootdorp, we are looking for a Workshop Technician. The focus of this workshop is on maintaining advanced onshore/offshore positioning and survey equipment.
You work in-house at the workshop, but you have the option, to participate in the mobilization of Fugro projects in the Netherlands and abroad. Furthermore, we challenge you to think innovatively and to optimise existing systems and to implement new survey technologies and techniques. As a technical talent, you are a resourceful problem solver. Whether you are conducting precise sensor tests, maintaining and repairing Survey Equipment and sensors, your precision and attention to detail are invaluable.

Your role

  • You configure (advanced) equipment;
  • You calibrate equipment and conduct sensor tests;
  • You maintain and repair devices;
  • You perform administrative tasks, such as keeping the fault register, asset inventories, calibration register, and firmware register;
  • You explore new applications in your work.

Your track record

  • You have relevant technical work experience; offshore experience is a strong asset but not mandatory;
  • You have knowledge of electronic systems and interfacing techniques;
  • You are service-oriented and have a problem-solving attitude;
  • You want to work full-time;
  • You can follow instructions well and work independently;
  • You have knowledge of the English language (written and spoken) due to the international aspect of our organization.
