Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Workspace and AV Support Technician to oversee the successful operation of audio-visual equipment and IT at our Cluj office.
The role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of audio & visual equipment on site. The role holder will be required to ensure meeting room and office technology including IT equipment is fit for purpose and functional. They will also be pivotal in supporting Flutter events in and around the office including presentations, conferences and team Townhalls.
The post holder will support the onsite Workspace Team and may be required to undertake general administrative duties including supporting the Front of House Team and Workspace Assistants on site.

Accountabilities:

  • On-site troubleshooting of AV systems (both meeting rooms and event areas)
  • Communicating with AV manufacturers and vendors to arrange repair or replacement of faulty AV equipment and managing local inventory, including maintaining a critical spares list
  • Support, troubleshoot and repair audio-visual equipment that malfunctions during events or presentations.
  • Provide technical support to presenters or speakers during events.
  • Working with internal teams and contractors through troubleshooting and repair procedures
  • Point of contact for all Telecoms & AV for the Cluj office
  • Work closely with Group Telecoms & AV team supporting local Wi-Fi, Printing, meeting rooms and Calendar bridge
  • Test and resolve technical issues with audio-visual equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Set up, operate and maintain audio-visual equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, and other related items.
  • Responsible for the cable management across the seats in the office
  • Manage the Zoom account for local events, such as All Hands, Town Halls and Webinars
  • Be the local point of contact to manage the Printers supplier.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate setup of audio-visual equipment before events.
  • Keep updated on advancements in audio-visual technology and recommend upgrades when necessary.
  • Collaborate with event planners or production teams to understand technical requirements and provide audio-visual support accordingly.
  • Coordinate with other technical staff to ensure a seamless integration of audio-visual components.
  • Occasional out of hours work may be required

  • Good communication skills both in Romanian and English
  • Experience in the AV sector with a proven record of effectively commissioning, configuring, troubleshooting or installing corporate AV systems
  • Good troubleshooting, problem-solving and diagnosis skills with a strong understanding of signal flow
  • Good customer-facing skills
  • Certifications of training by AV manufacturers (For example: Cisco, Biamp, Dante)
  • Experience with AV tools such as Zoom, Slack and Teams
  • Very good knowledge of VC systems (Zoom & Cisco)
  • Knowledge of IPTV systems
  • Experience with network technology including video and audio over IP
