YOUR JOB

To develop and implement the strategic direction for assigned customer account (or accounts) on a worldwide basis. Acts as the focal point for pricing strategies, new product developments and technologies, delivery, and quality performance programs on a worldwide basis.

WHO YOU ARE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical area of study
  • More than 5 years of sales/marketing experience in connector industry.
  • More than 2 years of sales/marketing experience in industry of account responsibility (automotive, consumer, medical etc)
  • Good communication skills that demonstrate the ability to prepare and deliver concise effective presentations to customers and Molex personnel.
  • Good organization skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workload to manage customer issues on a worldwide basis.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively work with co-workers and external contacts to respond positively to situations

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manages and coordinates all new development activity at customer account and Molex design centers worldwide.
  • Meets key growth and profitability goals.
  • Manages all global pricing strategies by working with various entities and divisions.
  • Manages and coordinates all global customer manufacturing, delivery and quality performance programs. Works with and assists other entities or divisions with programs and issues as required.
  • Keeps current on driving technologies at assigned account (s) and develops strategies for Molex to match those technologies.
  • Participates in the establishment of annual and 3-year business plans to meet market share and profitability goals.
  • Prepares forecast reports and contract analysis. Tracks performance to plan and reports on worldwide performance results.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key individuals at all levels throughout customer’s organization.
  • May have direct or indirect supervisory responsibility for marketing professionals.
  • Supports Molex TQM program by following approved policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
