About the Role
As the subject matter expert on the Xactly Variable Compensation System, you will play a pivotal role in managing its day-to-day operations as part of the Data Services Sales Operations team. Your responsibilities will include providing training, managing data, offering ongoing support, troubleshooting issues, and developing the system to align with Data Services strategy.
You will collaborate across our brands and key stakeholders to enhance the use and adoption of Xactly, continuously seeking opportunities for automation/process improvements, efficiencies and improved user experience. Your expertise will be central to the success and impact of the Data Services compensation team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations and utilization of Xactly, including training, data management, ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system development to align with business strategies.
  • Create technical solutions for various requirements/issues; validate, communicate, and test these solutions with internal and external team members to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Serve as the primary support for Xactly and related business processes.
  • Identify and develop process efficiencies to enable end-to-end automation and drive operational excellence.
  • Work with multiple departments to design, configure, and implement updates and upgrades to commission plans.
  • Provide valuable insights on compensation plan design, system functionality, and implementation processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Compensation team(s) to enhance participant, payment, and policy management.
  • Maintain relationships with Xactly technical resources and internal technical teams, providing ongoing production support regarding application functionality and data integrity.
  • Document Standard Operating Procedures as part of regular support and maintenance activities.
  • Lead the configuration and implementation of new sales compensation plans, including gathering and documenting processes, determining overall design and system integrations, and conducting configuration and testing.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for streamlining and consolidation across Xactly.

Requirements

  • Experience working with the Xactly Product Suite.
  • Experience with SQL and developing integrated solutions between systems.
  • Experience on Xactly Integration with external applications such as Salesforce, HR (Workday).
  • Understanding of software testing with knowledge on building test plans and completing them in unit, functional and user acceptance test cycles.
  • Understanding of end-to-end Sales Compensation processes & systems.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to set up and interpret logic, data tables, and rule relationships.
  • Proven experience in identifying areas for process improvement and successful execution.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely and ensure others are informed.
