We are currently comprised of 11 retail stores, 4 commercial door facilities, and a truss manufacturing plant, all located in Pennsylvania.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in or performing the loading of delivery vehicles with customer orders or freight.
• Safely operating location vehicles, including flatbeds, pickups, stake-body, and box trucks.
• Providing courteous job site delivery service to all customers and their representatives.
• Completing delivery invoice documents accurately.
• Performing basic yard housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Verifying and returning customer-returned merchandise to the yard as requested.
• Conducting daily preventative maintenance checks on delivery vehicles and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the delivery fleet.
• Following safe vehicle and equipment operation and general yard practices.
• Immediately report accidents, injuries, and incidents of damage to merchandise, buildings, equipment, and customer property to the Dispatcher/Yard or Assistant Manager.
• Practicing safe and proper lifting, carrying, and material maneuvering practices

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have:

• An active driver’s license with a medical card.
• The ability to pass pre-employment drug and random alcohol and drug screen tests.
• The ability to work with moderate mathematical concepts.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials.
• The ability to analyze and reason in concepts of carrying, maneuvering, and unloading materials.
• Knowledge of delivery methods and techniques.
• Two to four years of experience in merchandise delivery and customer service (preferred).
• The ability to complete a forklift operator’s certification.
