As a Yard Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Working as part of a team to deliver a clean and tidy yard, managing waste streams
• Leading the team alongside the Site Manager with a positive and safety minded culture
• Ensuring the yard is safe and efficient so that vehicles can move around effectively
• Overseeing the removal of waste from the factory to the appropriate skips
• Ensuing waste is removed from site in a timely manner
• Taking ownership of reporting of any accidents/incidents or near misses
• Ensuring that all recording of equipment movements and required documentation is auctioned with company policies and procedures in a timely manne

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a mechanical aptitude and proven experience in a mechanical/manufacturing environment
• Have basic PC skills and have an ability to use Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word & Teams)
• Have experience in using hand and power tools
• Holding appropriate certificates for using and operating of lifting equipment – e.g. fork lift licence
• Holding a driver license
• Have written and verbal communication skills, and work effectively with other
