EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent training
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to drive all makes and models of vehicles
  • Must be prepared to work in varying weather conditions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Autonomous person capable of assessing the volume of work and ensuring the punctual completion of tasks
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a yard manager in the various areas of the yard, including the rapid recovery vehicles, receiving area and holding areas for auctions
  • Ensure proper execution of all service level agreements for clients
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the yard, which may include transporting cars, writing inspection reports, organizing vehicles for the sales day and assisting customers
  • Assist in compliance and enforcement of safety standards at all times
  • Respond to staff questions, concerns and challenges, and manage people strategically according to business needs
  • Help resolve various issues that may arise with court service, procedures and equipment
  • Assist in the implementation of quality control standards with the team
