Salary: £23,500 per annum, pro rata which equates to £19,054
Location: Enniskillen and Omagh
Contract/Hours: Permanent, part-time (working 30 hours a week)

Action for Children’s Floating Support service is based in Omagh with an outreach office in Enniskillen and covers the Omagh and Fermanagh areas. The Floating Support Service provides assistance to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and to young people Leaving Care aged 18-25.
This role is part-funded by Children in Need and will focus on supporting young people aged 16-18 years old who face adversity relating to unstable/challenging living conditions. As part of this role you’ll be working alongside looked after young people preparing for independent living after age 18. This support will be delivered through 1:1 and small groupwork sessions to examine barriers to their integration into the community and work to overcome these through advice, information and practical assistance to access services. The role will be to support young people’s well-being, building their self-esteem and helping them integrate into their local community. It aims to reduce social isolation, increase young people’s confidence and access to services.
The hours of work are generally Monday to Friday but there will be a need to be flexible to meet the needs of the young people so will include some evening work and occasional weekend working.
