Description:

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS’ INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT - 2025 INTAKE

Imagine being part of a dynamic firm making a significant global impact.
Genesis Analytics, an impact firm headquartered in Africa, has worked in 52 African countries and more than 115 countries globally. Uniquely, Genesis is focused on the Young World – the arc of countries with young populations stretching across Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and parts of Southeast Asia.
In a world undergoing convulsive technological and political change, Genesis partners with key actors to deliver urgent, lasting impact in critical areas.

These are three ways in which Genesis works differently:

  • We combine global reach and country depth. More than 80% of our staff live in our impact countries, and bring deep knowledge and networks to bear on our work. Change happens at a local level, but needs to be informed by global experience.
  • We work pro-actively. We identify transformative opportunities to unlock social value. Then we cooperate to marshal the funding, technology and alignment required.
  • We blend human engagement and technology to overcome barriers and achieve scale. We have a proven ability to build coalitions for change, find joint solutions, and sustain peer-to-peer learning. Our engagement processes are backed by on-point analytics utilising sophisticated primary data capabilities that we have inside Genesis.

We have expertise in diverse fields such as behavioural sciences; competition economics and regulation; climate finance and economics; the digital economy and regulation; economic impact assessment; financial services strategy; gender human development; monitoring, evaluation and learning; public health and financing; shared value and corporate impact; and youth employment. Some of our best work has been through combining our complementary areas of expertise to find fresh solutions.
Genesis is expanding at a rapid rate, and we welcome new talent into our firm.
About Genesis’ International Graduate Intake
As part of the firm’s growth, Genesis recruits cohorts of young talent each year. These candidates may be newly or recently qualified graduates, as well as early career professionals who aim to do meaningful work to bring about positive change and development. Successful candidates join as young professionals from the outset.
Our International round is aligned to the UK academic year and focuses on target universities in the UK, Kenya, Ethiopia and beyond. We are especially interested in ‘returning Africans’, that is African nationals who have completed their education abroad but are keen to return to their home countries to commence their international career. We welcome applications from SA students but our major recruitment round for them is in the beginning of each year in South Africa aligned to their academic year.
