Description:

Community Education delivers free confidence-building workshops to young people, and we would love for you to help us in our mission to empower communities to become more resilient. Ideally you would be able to volunteer for 8 hours per month and can volunteer with us for 9 months. As part of this role you may be required to travel up to one hour to venues to deliver workshops. Workshops can take place at various times, usually between 9am and 5pm during the week. You will be required to carry learning materials or light-weight training equipment. We would like volunteers who; - Can volunteer on a regular basis. - Will deliver workshops in the community, lasting 1-2 hours. - Workshops are delivered Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 5pm. - Use of own vehicle. - Use of own phone. - Use of own laptop/computer. - The minimum volunteering expectation is 8 hours each month. The applicant should be able to support with the promotion of workshops in the Runcorn area, and should be willing to travel to locations within 1 hour of Runcorn to deliver workshops. Responsible, organised, and reliable
Passionate about exploring humanitarian issues and values.
Able to travel to and lead a workshop each week.
Recognise the value of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the work that we do.
IT literate, ideally with access to own IT equipment.
