• Hours: Part Time, permanent – 20 hours per week (Afternoons and evenings)
• Deadline: 13th September 2024
  As a Youth Worker your role will be to support, develop and engage children and young people to develop their social and emotional capabilities and emotional wellbeing, improve their engagement with learning and to stay safe.
  You will be part of our Youth Support team, delivering detached and centre-based youth work across Southampton and Eastleigh Borough. Through centre based and detached youth work you will be involved in the delivery of a range of activities and services including sports and games, arts and crafts, life skills workshops, information, advice and guidance. Services will support young people to develop their social and emotional capabilities, make safe, informed choices, address issues they are facing and engage with informal learning.
  This position requires a dynamic, enthusiastic, and flexible person with experience of working with young people. You must have the ability to provide ongoing support for young people and be able to plan, run and monitor group activities.
  Evening and occasional weekend working will be required.
