Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Having revised its long-form content strategy, ITV plc. is enhancing its content proposition on YouTube, drawing on the full potential of the historical and current content rights across ITV Studios, ITV Media and Entertainments UK rights as well as 3rd party producers.
The main purpose of this role is to work with a specialist YouTube Sales team to lead and deliver the YouTube sales strategy, creating a distinct and unique proposition for agencies and clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become the specialist expert responsible for selling ITV’s content proposition on YouTube.
  • Develop sales collateral and initiatives in the market to unlock and encourage client spend incremental to existing revenue streams.
  • Work with the Head of YouTube Sales to maximise revenue opportunities for ITV YouTube. The role is responsible for initially shaping and continuing to evolve the proposition to drive revenue.
  • Have strong agency and client relationships across your dedicated portfolio to keep ITV YouTube front of mind for relevant budgets.
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline with your dedicated clients and agencies to maximise revenue potential and reach revenue targets.
  • Support and upskill wider ITV Sales teams to enable them to present the ITV YouTube proposition with confidence.
  • Collaborate with your line manager and team members to contribute to the ongoing ITV commercial sales strategy evolution and wider converged market proposition.
  • Use initiative and specialist expertise to identify, understand and solve client challenges working with relevant teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal personnel across ITV Media and Entertainment and ITV Studios.

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

  • Degree level education is preferred but not essential
  • In-depth knowledge of the Youtube, broadcast and wider digital and TV sales market and demonstrated ability in the YouTube space
  • High level and widespread agency contacts across broadcast, digital and social teams
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels
  • Strong planning and coordination skills
  • An assertive self-starter with the proven ability to work under pressure in a results oriented, deadline driven environment
  • Experience of delivering a strategic approach to sales and experience of managing complex deals
  • Experience of internal senior stakeholder management
