Sanofi Consumer Healthcare is engaged in a transformation from a strategic, organizational and investment aspect, which impacts all our current and future marketing and business activities. To help fuel this transformation, we are looking for a Zone Brand Lead to join our Central Eastern Europe (CEE) team. You will be responsible for leading and identifying the growth opportunities for one of our love brands: Essentiale.
Responsibilities:
- Build CEE organization engagement for growing leading portfolio of Essentiale brand for Sanofi CHC.
- Craft and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics with precision and strategic foresight in collaboration with the country leadership teams.
- Oversee the meticulous financial stewardship of the brand, encompassing revenue growth, OPEX optimization, and bottom-line enhancement.
- Owns brand building (brand strategy - positioning and long-term plan, brand planning, communication & media strategy, innovation strategy) for the countries and brands in scope.
- Owns end-to-end brand activation along the consumers’ journey to enable them to take health in their hands. Drive seamless operational execution across all markets, ensuring consistency and excellence in brand delivery.
- Collaborate on Healthcare Professionals (HCP) engagement & E-commerce strategy and owns investments & materials supporting the execution.
- Monitors and influences brand performance to ensure it meets category KPIs on Sales (sell-in/sell-out), profitability (BOI) and innovation (incremental sales)
- Anticipates and manages upsides and risks to ensure achievement of business targets.
- Role models Sanofi Leadership values and behaviours day to day and as a member of CEE Leadership Team.
- Contributes to building managers of the future on his/her team and inspires growth across entire organization.
About you
- University Degree - Business or Marketing Background.
- Strong marketing experience in recognized OTC/FMCG companies at country and/or Zone level with proven track record of stretch business growth and brand building (measures via share growth and brand equity growth).
- Strong track record in strategic & operational marketing as well as innovation
- Flair for creativity and building effective relationships with creative agencies
- Strong leadership skills (experienced in leading teams including direct report relationships, cross-functional teams as well as effective intercultural leadership acumen).
- Excellent people and communication skills, ability to operate and influence in a diverse and complex matrix environment, and ability to build sustainable social relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Experience in effective cross-functional engagement with e.g. Supply Chain, Industrial Development, Market Research, Medical and Regulatory.
- Experience in P&L management and accountability.
- International experience (experience working outside of own cultural environment / across multiple countries preferred).
- Fluent knowledge English
