Requirements Key Responsibilities: Research and identify prospective shippers through outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals). Qualify prospects by understanding their freight needs, pain points, and decision-making processes. Generate meetings for the sales team with mid-to-large volume shippers. Communicate [Company Name]’s transportation capabilities (FTL, LTL, etc.) clearly and effectively. Collaborate with account executives and operations to build custom solutions. Track all activity in the CRM and maintain a clean, organized sales pipeline. Consistently meet or exceed lead generation and appointment-setting targets. Stay informed about industry trends, market rates, and competitor offerings. Requirements: 1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or sales (3PL industry strongly preferred). Familiarity with FTL, LTL, intermodal, or brokerage services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills. Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a 3PL, freight brokerage, or carrier sales environment. Working knowledge of routing, freight class, rate structures, and accessorial charges.
