POSITION SUMMARY

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for sales of Endovascular products in assigned territory by building new business and maintaining existing accounts within the area. The position requires extensive interaction with physicians and hospital personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and accomplishment of department objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum five years’ medical device sales experience required.
• Three years’ successful sales experience in Interventional Radiology/Vascular Access/Urology/GI markets required.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with MS office programs.
• Demonstrates selling skills and techniques; high level of professionalism when dealing with patients, physician and hospital personnel.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals who are influential in the purchasing decision-making process.
• Highly motivated and able to achieve sales goals.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required.

• Meets or exceeds established annual sales quota.
• Develops and executes marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives to meet or exceed assigned revenue goal.
• Maintains regular, planned communication with key customers.
• Assesses local market potential through surveys, discussions with clinical staff and administration, review of hospital records and analysis of demographic data.
• Manages all expenses related to the territory including sample inventories, demonstration equipment, supplies, etc.
• Maintains organized and accurate records of all sales activities including sales calls, patient cases, product presentations, and expense records using current company software programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Plans schedules and strategies for promoting products and services to customers.
• Serves as a liaison between the Company and thought leaders in the field.
• Attends conferences and trade shows to promote the organization’s products and/or services.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, along with the organization’s policies and procedures.
