Job Overview: This role involves the conceptualisation, content design and video editing (where required) of content for an always-on Social Media calendar, and well as posting, boosting and running paid advertising on META. You would also be responsible for regular reporting and analysis of results. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving our Social Media Brand representation and following, as well as developing Social content for as lead generation campaigns. Please note this is an on-site position in our offices in Kenilworth, Cape Town. You’re perfect for this position if you: Have a degree or diploma in Communications, Design, or a related field. Have proven experience conceptualising, creating and designing Social Media content, video editing, and Social Media management. Have a strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling through copy and visuals. Have a strong understanding of the targeting capabilities as well as user behaviour across major Social Media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn. Have an excellent understanding of what drives engagement as well as lead generation on Social Media channels. Are comfortable developing in-depth content calendars for various types of businesses including Studying Abroad, Sports Recruitment, Offshore Property and Financial Services. Have good experience in Community Management and online Brand Reputation Crisis Management. Are proficient in Meta Business Manager and GA4. Advertising agency experience preferable with portfolio of past work as well as results. Are deadline-driven and can multi-task across several content pieces and campaigns at the same time. Are keen to develop yourself as the authority and expert in this field within an international company. Your role and responsibilities: Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include: Planning, designing, video editing and publishing engaging content across a variety of Social Media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok. Developing Social Media calendars in collaboration with the marketing team to support Brand reputation, channel following and campaigns. Planning and implementing successful lead generation campaigns for our various business units across the Social channels.
