THE ROLE QC Manager, Hardlines We are seeking a QC Manager, Hardlines to join our growing team. Quince is a US-based, hyper-growth tech retail start-up experiencing 100%+ YoY growth and serving millions of users each month. In this role, you will oversee factory audits, manage end-to-end inspections for hardgoods like Furniture and Lighting, and lead our quality engineering standards across a global supply chain to ensure every product meets our high benchmarks. Responsibilities Oversee QC operations at the factories, including the inspections of raw materials, in-process / in-line production and finished goods. Provide guidance to manufacturing partners’ QC and production on in-line production quality control, assisting first production qualification, problem-solving and continuous improvement. Investigate and address quality-related issues, including customer complaints and non-conforming materials. Prepare and submit reports on quality control activities, including inspection results, audits, and non-conformance reports Ensure factories comply with company standards and good documentation practices by providing accurate records of inspections, test results, and other quality-related documentation. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or relevant field 5+ years of proven experience in quality control. Ideally in consumer goods or retail industries. Quality control experience in a manufacturing environment and/or field quality experience. Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and best practices.
