We are currently looking for qualified Quality Inspectors to join our team.   Schedule is full-time, Monday - Thursday, 5:30am - 4:00pm.  This position is eligible for quarterly production bonuses.     Radiant Power Corp. delivers the highest levels of quality and reliability from our full range of aerospace products. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.   Qualifications Inspects parts, assemblies and finished products to drawings and specifications.   GENERAL DUTIES: * Performs a wide variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical inspections on parts and assemblies. * Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a variety of components and assemblies. * Interprets drawings and schematic diagrams to perform inspections. * Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures. * Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * One year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent amount of prior experience. * Six to twelve months of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment * Previous use of inspection tools – calipers, gage pins * Preference given to aerospace and defense electronics experience * Certified IPC-A-610D Class 3 Criteria and/or J-STD-001D solderer (expired certification is okay) desired. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. * Ability to write routine reports. * Read/Write Fluently in English * Must be well-organized, flexible and able to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment * MS Office Suite including; Outlook, Excel, Access, and MSWord. * Sustained dependable attendance. * Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues. * Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.
