About Frontier-Kemper Excellence in Underground and Heavy Civil Construction Frontier-Kemper-Tutor Perini joint venture was awarded the Manhattan Tunnel Project, part of the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). A $1.18 billion design-build contract from the Gateway Development Commission for the HTP which aims to enhance rail resiliency by adding two new tracks between New York and New Jersey and rehabilitating the storm-damaged North River Tunnel. The project includes designing and constructing twin 30-foot diameter, 700-foot-long tunnels under the Hudson River, connecting to existing tunnels beneath Hudson Yards, and an access shaft at 12th Avenue, later serving as a ventilation facility. Extraordinary Projects, Exceptional Performance DESCRIPTION: As a Heavy Civil CAD Engineer at Frontier-Kemper-Tutor Perini joint venture, you will have the opportunity to support the development of construction drawings and design deliverables for complex heavy civil and infrastructure projects. This role reports to the Sr. Project Engineer and will work closely with design engineers, project managers, and field teams to translate engineering concepts into accurate, high-quality drawings that support successful project execution. The ideal candidate has strong experience in structural drafting for civil works such as bridges, tunnels, shafts, retaining structures, and foundations, and is proficient in industry-standard CAD software.
