JOB PURPOSE:

To lead the baby room (0-2 years) team in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for babies to develop emotionally, socially, and physically. You will be responsible for planning and overseeing daily activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting your team, and building positive relationships with parents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and support the baby room team, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Act as a role model and provide mentoring and coaching to team members.
• Oversee staff deployment and ensure ratios are maintained.
• Ensure a safe and stimulating indoor and outdoor environment.
• Ensure that all safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
• Administer first aid and medication as required and in accordance with policies.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO CARRY OUT THE ROLE:

· Level 3 childcare qualification or above- Required
· Experience as a Room Lead – Required
