Provide an excellent client experience by reviewing customer specifications for accuracy and maintaining communication with the client regarding project changes that may impact fees. 2. Creates and monitors project scope, design schedules, budgets and contracts. 3. Provides mentoring to entry-level project engineers in group on financial management, customer services, and the client management process. 4. Serves as the primary point of contact with clients while striving to build strong, and long-term relationships as well as maintain current relationships with high-value clients. 5. Assess projects to reduce and actively manage risks, while ensuring that risk management practices are in place. 6. Delegates work to the project team, answers questions, monitors process, and review completed work. 7. Prepare proposals, including fee estimates. 8. Prepares project billing/invoices; follows up with clients to ensure timely ament of invoices. 9. Collaborates with the team to coordinate project decisions in conjunction with the client and other stakeholders. 10. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Strong understanding of civil engineering design process. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 3. Strong project management skills. 4. Strong people skills; ability to effectively communicate with a team as well as promote a team environment. 5. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other civil engineering design tools 6. Ten or more years of civil engineering experience is preferred 3. Project management experience is required License or Certification Requirements 1.
