The candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and managing all phases of IT project lifecycles, leveraging PMP best practices and systems engineering principles.

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with a strong background in IT infrastructure project management, cloud technologies (Azure), and federal IT compliance standards. The candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and managing all phases of IT project lifecycles, leveraging PMP best practices and systems engineering principles.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management and implementation.
• Hands-on experience using MS Project and SELC in complex IT projects.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional IT teams.
• Proven track record managing cost, schedule, and performance in federal IT contracts.
• Strong Azure cloud management experience, including hybrid datacenter environments.
• In-depth understanding of FISMA compliance and disaster recovery best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience briefing senior stakeholders.

• Lead cross-functional IT project teams including Applications, Engineering, IT Operations & Maintenance, and Network Engineering.
• Utilize MS Project and SELC (Systems Engineering Lifecycle) methodology for planning, scheduling, and managing projects.
• Oversee IT infrastructure implementations and hybrid datacenter environments, including Azure cloud and on-prem solutions.
• Act as ISSO, ensuring compliance with FISMA requirements and coordinating with cybersecurity teams.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation plans.
• Collect functional requirements to design and deliver IT solutions aligned with mission needs.
• Manage cost, performance, and schedule to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ensure disaster recovery strategies and systems are in place and tested.
• Prepare and present reports and briefings to senior federal officials, demonstrating clear written and verbal communication.
