  Location – Weekend Bail Court, Sydney CBD Employment type – Ongoing Part Time – Saturday and Sunday Salary – $129,464 - $142,665 (pro rata for part time) + applicable penalty rates, super and annual leave loading     Your role   As part of the NSW Government’s announced reforms to strengthen the Justice system and better protect victims of domestic and family violence, changes to the operations of Bail Courts across NSW will be implemented to ensure bail decisions required across weekends are made by Magistrates.   As the Registrar of the Weekend Bail Court, you will manage a team of staff across two locations, ensuring registry standards are met and quality services are delivered to the judiciary, key stakeholders and clients.   You will implement procedures and training to keep staff informed of procedural and legislative changes and provide advice and reports to the Director of Metro region on registry operations.   The weekend bail court is part of the 7-day Bail Division operating model, and you will work closely with the Registrar of the Bail Division (weekdays) to ensure continuity of operations     What we’re looking for   The successful candidates will have the following characteristics:   Demonstrated experience managing a team with a commitment to improving work practices, promoting Equal Employment Opportunity, Cultural Diversity and Workplace Health and Safety Demonstrated ability to react quickly to changing situations and make important decisions utilising strong problem-solving skills while negotiating with key stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the Bail Division standard operating procedures.
