Job Description

As a Patient Support Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of secure, high-quality patient care at Redcliffe Hospital. This hands‐on role combines patient support, hospital cleaning, waste and linen management, and equipment transportation duties. You will assist clinical staff with patient movement and positioning, safely transport patients throughout the facility, and ensure clinical and non-clinical areas are maintained in accordance with Queensland Health infection prevention and environmental cleaning standards.

- Assistclinical staff in the positioning of patients utilisingappropriate PatientHandling Techniques and undertaking the tasksunder the direction andsupervisionof a clinical staff membersuch as lifting,turningand mobilising patients.
