To support this growth, JFS is building a more sophisticated, performance-driven marketing function. The Role The Director of Marketing & Growth is responsible for owning and driving all marketing strategy, execution, and performance across the organization. This role serves as the central hub for all marketing activity, managing demand across multiple departments while ensuring that all campaigns are cohesive, efficient, and results-driven. The Director will lead integrated marketing campaigns that support fundraising, donor engagement, brand visibility, and revenue generation, while also leveraging digital marketing, paid media, CRM systems, and SEO strategies to drive measurable growth. This role also operates across both nonprofit and affiliated for-profit initiatives, requiring a balance of mission-driven storytelling and performance-based marketing. The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketing leader who can think strategically, execute independently, and build systems that scale. Core Responsibilities 1. Organizational Marketing Leadership Serve as the central intake and prioritization lead for all marketing requests across 26 programs and departments Manage competing demands from program directors, development, and leadership Establish systems, workflows, and processes to streamline marketing production Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all marketing outputs Act as the owner and steward of the JFS brand 2. Fundraising & Development Marketing Lead marketing strategy and execution for: annual appeals fundraising events donor campaigns major gift cultivation and stewardship Partner directly with the Chief Development Officer to support high-net-worth donor engagement Develop compelling materials that directly support revenue generation and campaign performance 3.
