The Marketing Manager will work directly with Alexander Group’s service practice leads and executives to create and execute innovative solutions that attract new clients and grow our existing relationships. This role drives the direction of Alexander Group’s services portfolio including marketing services, sales compensation, pricing and data science practices. You will bring the services and capabilities to market, build content and materials, create awareness, and manage marketing programs through the lifecycle while ensuring alignment with industry practices. Responsibilities: Determine and develop innovative and results-oriented marketing strategies, programs and campaigns Represent the firm’s value proposition, offerings and point of view for the creation of focused messages, content and programs Develop and maintain the marketing calendar for the services portfolio initiatives including services-focused research, content and email campaigns aligning all to industry practices Develop and manage the strategy for building related communities and councils Provide support for Alexander Group sponsored events and coordination for third-party events Facilitate planning sessions to establish the annual marketing plan for the services portfolio including the timing, budgeting, tracking and analytics for programs that link to the firm’s business plan Help curate the services practice CRM database Manage communication between team members and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment of initiatives Provide reports on program and campaign performance, contribute to success analysis and identify opportunities to improve performance Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing 5+ years of work experience in a marketing manager role Bias towards creativity and action Exceptional writing, communication and team working skills with a high degree of motivation, positive attitude and willingness to learn from mentors and peers Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, experience working and interpreting sales, customer and marketing data Experience working with Salesforce and Pardot Ability to work proactively across work streams and interact fluidly with consultants and clients in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities Ability to work with uncertainty and learn quickly Experience working in professional services a plus Based in Chicago, IL (in-office three days per week) Salary: $110,000-122,000.
