We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Proactive Telesales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively reaching out to potential customers, engaging them in conversations, and persuading them to purchase our products or services. Your exceptional communication skills, positive attitude, and sales acumen will be essential in achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of our organisation.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a telesales representative or similar sales role, preferably in a proactive outbound calling environment.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers and build rapport over the phone.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Outstanding listening and problem-solving skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Resilience and the ability to handle objections and rejection in a professional manner.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools for lead management and tracking.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability and openness to learning about new products, industries, and sales techniques.
  • Educated to GCSE level and further education with previous knowledge and background in sales preferable.

DUTIES

  • Proactively initiate outbound calls to potential customers using provided leads, call lists, and CRM data to drive new business opportunities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers by handling inbound enquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
  • Generate accurate and timely customer quotations, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of existing and lapsed customers to increase sales, identify new opportunities, and grow share of wallet.
  • Develop trust and rapport with prospects and customers through effective communication, active listening, and a customer-first approach.
  • Identify customer needs, understand challenges or pain points, and recommend suitable product or service solutions aligned with their business goals.
  • Present product or service features and benefits in a compelling manner, addressing objections and positioning value effectively to support conversion.
  • Use persuasive selling techniques to guide prospects through the sales cycle and close deals, whether through outbound prospecting or inbound engagement.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs, contributing to overall business growth
  • Accurately maintain and update customer records, quotations, and sales activities within the CRM system.
