Support the communication and administration of HR/ site policies in coordination with the Plant Manager and direction from Valero Renewables Human Resources. Assist the Corporate Benefits Department with benefits open enrollment and are a resource for basic benefits questions. Represent company at career fairs and community outreach events. Generate various HR reports in SAP. Partner with the Plant Manager to coordinate daily tasks and responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant. Serve as Site Administrator for the Learning Management System. Reconcile and verify purchase card transactions, ensuring proper documentation, coding, and adherence to budget guidelines. Organize employee recognition and appreciation events and manage plant-wide internal communications. Coordinate special events such as United Way Kickoff, family day, biometric screenings, and volunteer activities. Coordinate charitable giving initiatives. Coordinate meeting logistics, including room reservations, setup and other administrative needs. Develop and maintain plant filing system, ensuring retention policy compliance. Serve as the primary backup for front desk activities, including answering phones and greeting visitors. Coordinate support services for the administration building, including janitorial and lawn/landscaping services. Manage employee uniform rentals and winter boots program. Verify contractor safety training compliance by administering and documenting training when needed. Serve as the primary contact for plant tour requests. This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years of administrative or office management experience required. Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.
