Description Mortgage Underwriters are detailed-oriented people who will thrive in a time sensitive and sophisticated environment. Underwriters provide support to the Home Equity Team Leader, Mortgage Origination Team, and Lenders. They proactively work with lenders and clients to analyze Home Equity application files to determine product qualifications, while ensuring documentation collected and calculations meet internal policy and ensure compliance standards are being met. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential position requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Secondary education with related experience preferred. A background screening will be conducted.
