Job Description Summary
You will be part of a nimble multidisciplinary team of computational geneticists, biomedical informatics, variant scientists, and bioinformaticians analyzing research and clinical specimens using high throughput whole genome sequencing. As part of a recent Penn-wide effort to expand in-house genomic capabilities, you have a unique opportunity to design and deploy new software infrastructure for the Center for Computational Biomedicine (CCB) at the Department of Genetics and Institute of Biomedical Informatics within Perelman School of Medicine at UPenn. A successful applicant will lead computational pipeline development and implementation within HIPPA compliant cloud compute, genome interpretation efforts, deployment of a variant sequencing to data aggregation reporting system within cloud platform
