o Design and Develop cloud strategy and vision, cloud solutions design and delivery, cloud migrations, infrastructure automation across a wide range of platforms.
o Responsible for Developing cloud architecture across diverse areas including application development, data management, governance and access management.
o Responsible for owning and driving application migration strategy and implementation across all of application functions, supported tool set, and needed services to other engineering teams.
o Responsible for a set core applications/services to help drive simplicity, efficiency, and standardization across multiple domains (e.g. middleware, data, messaging). Own the design, implementation and operating model for the core set of runtime products/services.
o Responsible for supporting integrations of SaaS products in the cloud based environment.
o Work collaboratively to establish an API strategy for the firm which will allow for a dynamic and self-service interface between infrastructure, services, and applications.
o Own the centralized roadmap, tooling, implementation, and support model for DevOps across infrastructure and line of business development teams
o Work with enterprise grade Quant data consumption platforms such as DataLakes.
o Develop and deliver large scale platform development environments using language models such as Python, JavaScript and Angular.
o Design, Develop and Deploy high performance and scalable relational database and NoSQL databases for Asset management team’s consumption.
o Practise and enforce information security capabilities and models, and a demonstrated ability to implement security capabilities at scale in software products.
o Ensure consistency of delivering on milestones using agile and waterfall approaches
o Ensure to implementing and working on platform/Services such as Snaplogic/Snowflake/Redshift/RDS/SageMaker/Elasticache/Athena
o Responsible for API design and implementation and RESTful services
o Responsible for hands-on skills such automation and Infrastructure-as-code platforms and tools – Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation etc.
o Ensure site reliability engineer role such as system, performance, and resiliency monitoring and management
o Design and deliver products, services and software in a highly manageable, resilient, and secure ecosystem.
o Design and implementation with deep understanding of traditional infrastructure domains: networking, DNS, Active Directory, storage, data protection, cyber infrastructure, compute (Linux, Windows), databases, system management, monitoring
o Design and implement emerging enterprise computing models specifically: server less, container, micro-services, machine learning
o Provide software defined infrastructure services for workplace products and services.
