This position is a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). The CNA assists residents with daily living activities. Other responsibilities include: 1) Measuring and recording residents’ vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiratory rate; 2) Assisting residents with daily living activities such as eating, personal hygiene, and dressing; and 3) Providing compassionate support to residents/family members and encouraging open communication. Resident Care (90%25) · Measures and records residents’ vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiratory rate. · Assists residents with daily living activities such as eating, personal hygiene, and dressing. · Provides compassionate support to residents/family members and encourages open communication. · Measures input and output, and collects specimens for testing. · Answers call light for assistance and responds to residents’ needs. · Assists staff in providing resident care and responds to emergencies. · Observes residents’ condition or behavior and reports changes to the nurse. · Changes linens, makes beds, cleans residents' rooms, bathrooms, or other resident areas.
